The Siena nuns made a rare excursion into Drogheda specifically to visit the St Oliver Plunkett exhibition. The Siena nuns were custodians of St Oliver’s head for almost two hundred years, before it was moved to St Peter’s in Drogheda in 1920 following his beatification.
