A prayer room has been created and dedicated to St Carlos Acutis at Nano Nagle Special School in Listowel, Co. Kerry.
Principal Jacinta Budhlaeir, parent Michaela Enright and school staff have helped create the room over the last few months. The area was blessed by Fr Brendan Walsh, PP Moyvane, with Holy Cross Tralee’s first-class relic of St Carlo Acutis.
Welcoming Fr Walsh and the Relic, Principal Budhlaeir spoke about the importance of that space to the school. The room holds prayer pillows, pictures, prayer cards, toys, rosaries and a library of resources available to students, parents and staff.
Nano Nagle School caters for pupils aged between 4 and 18 years who have been assessed to have a learning disability. The school is under the patronage of the Bishop Ray Browne of Kerry, and the Trusteeship of Presentation Sisters and Catholic Education An Irish Schools’ Trust.
