Memorial month in Dublin for Matt Talbot

The Dublin church which hosts the mortal remains of Matt Talbot is holding a memorial month to mark the 90th anniversary of his death.

On Saturday, June 6 a Vigil Mass will be celebrated in the church on Sean McDermott Street at 7pm to reflect the simple piety of ordinary people. From 8-11pm the church hosts candlelit adoration of the Holy Eucharist.

The feast of Corpus Christ on June 7 will be celebrated with Mass at 9.30am followed by a procession at 10.15am to Granby Lane, where a wreath will be laid at the site where Matt Talbot collapsed. The memorial month will conclude on Tuesday, June 11 with Confirmation at 11am.
