Pope John Paul II Awards in Mallow.
October 23 saw 44 young people from around the Diocese of Cloyne achieve their Pope John Paul II Award in Mallow Community Youth Centre.
Students from Coláiste Mhuire in Buttevant, St Aloysius’ College in Carrigtwohill, St Mary’s Secondary School in Mallow and Presentation Secondary School, Mitchelstown received their Bronze, Silver and Gold medals.
Bishop Crean deliver the opening address to a packed audience of young people, parents, teachers, principals, schools chaplains, priests, religious sisters, members of the Knights of St Columbanus, staff and volunteers of Cloyne Diocesan Youth Service.
