Community choir celebrates Corrymeela’s 50th anniversary

As part of a range of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of Corrymeela – Northern Ireland’s oldest peace and reconciliation organisation – the Voices Together Choir will perform a unique musical event at Clonard Monastery, Belfast on Sunday, June 14 at 3pm.

Voices Together will be joined by the Jubilate! Chamber Choir and a number of featured soloists for a programme with a wide diversity of music on the theme of peace-building, and Padraig O Tuama, leader of Corrymeela Community will share readings of his poetry as part of the event.

Voices Together is an inclusive group of singers and musicians, drawing membership from different communities in Northern Ireland, founded in 2012 and directed by Dave Stewart.

Tickets are available at the door or in advance from the Corrymeela office 04890 508080 or online from Eventbrite.
