Una Healy’s husband converted to Catholicism for their wedding

The Saturdays star Una Healy has spoken about the importance of faith in her life, revealing that her husband converted to Catholicism ahead of their wedding in 2012.

The Tipperary-born Voice of Ireland mentor, who is married to English rugby player Ben Foden, said her faith means a lot to her, and her two children, Aoife Belle and Tadhg, will be raised as Catholics.

“He (Ben) actually converted to Catholicism – he wasn’t anything until he met me,” she told Irish Country Magazine.

“He thought it would be nice, so he did it. It’s nice to have a bit of faith – it’s not full on, I’m not one to preach or anything, but I do think it’s important,” she said.
