Mags GarganIt was with much sorrow that the National Eucharistic Adoration Committee said goodbye to one of their apostles, Mike Kumar, who died peacefully in December as the Chaplet of Divine Mercy was completed at his bedside. Mike was a Hindu from India and converted to Catholicism 12 years ago. He was passionate about the promotion of adoration and worked tirelessly in the Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration.
As a member of the national committee, he was a constant promoter of adoration in the dioceses of Tuam, Galway, Elphin and Achonry. He had been the Chairman of Tuam and Elphin Diocesan Adoration Committees for many years. His colleague said they will “miss him dearly” but feel certain that “he will continue to have a great impact on the work for our Apostolate”.
