Cork secondary school teacher Christine O’Hara, who started a Rosary Group in her own school of Coláiste Chríost Rí in 2022, has created a set of PowerPoints to help fellow teachers and parishioners introduce the Rosary in their schools.

Speaking to The Irish Catholic about the idea, Ms O’Hara said she believes “it is a deep desire of Our Holy Mother Mary that all children have the opportunity to encounter the love of God through the Holy Rosary.”

She said she has witnessed firsthand the positive impact that the Rosary has on students’ mental health, and that every teacher who she has encouraged to introduce the Rosary has “shared very positive feedback on how much the children love it.”

PowerPoints have been created for primary and secondary school teachers to support them in introducing the Rosary within classroom settings. Ms O’Hara shared that  the presentations include prayer moments which have been “especially effective” with her secondary school students.

The Rosary for Schools PowerPoints are available at rosaryforschools.substack.com. Please share these PowerPoints with anyone who may be open to introducing the Rosary in a school.
