The installation Mass gathered many people from Raphoe Diocese and other dioceses
across Ireland. Bishop Niall Coll has announced the following clerical appointments in the Raphoe Diocese, to take effect on July 11 and 12. These appointments mark Bishop Coll’s first major parish changes as Bishop of Raphoe, and see several priests moving to new roles in the diocese.
Very Rev. Denis Quinn, PP, will retire as PP, Carrick.
Very Rev. Rory Brady, PP, Ballyshannon (Kilbarron) to be PP, Carrick.
Very Rev. Pat Ward, PP, Kincasslagh to be PP, Templecrone, which includes Dungloe, Leitirmacaward and Doochary.
Very Rev. Johnny Moore, PP, Templecrone, which includes Dungloe, Leitirmacaward and Doochary, to be PP, Ballyshannon (Kilbarron).
Rev. Vincent Finnegan OFM, CC, Stranorlar to be Administrator, Acres, Kincasslagh and Arranmore Island.
Rev. John Attoh, CC, Arranmore Island to be CC, Stranorlar.
