Courtney McGrailThe US Congress has begun an investigation into Planned Parenthood, with the House Judiciary Committee being the first of three committees scheduled to consider the beleaguered abortion-providers.
The investigation comes in the aftermath of the publication by the legal group Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) of a report into instances where Planned Parenthood has been accused of failing to report sexual abuse.
“Americans shouldn’t be forced to subsidise a scandal-plagued, billion-dollar corporation,” said ADF Legal Counsel Natalie Decker. “The recent CMP undercover videos have revealed only the latest scandal. As our report demonstrates and documents, Planned Parenthood has been involved for many years in performing abortions on underage, sexually-abused girls and letting their rapists go free.”
