Parish raceday a real winner

Bondi Beach, trained by A.P. O’Brien and ridden by Seamie Heffernan, won The Irish Catholic Maiden race at Leopradstown Racecourse in Dublin on Sunday. Presenting the trophy are (l-r) The Irish Catholic’s Geraldine Kellet, Editor Michael Kelly, M.V. Magnier, representative for the horse owners and Fr Andrew O’Sullivan, Parish Priest in Sandyford, who organised the race day as a fundraiser for the parish restoration works.
