Police in Punjab have confirmed that the unnamed youth had been detained following his like on what has been described as an inappropriate picture of the Kaaba, the central structure in Mecca and site of the annual Haj pilgrimage.
Police moved to detain a teenager after a Muslim user of Facebook saw the online image and claimed to have been insulted by it.
