Fr John McNamara, Adm. of Leixlip parish in Co. Kildare, blessed a new parish cell group in Our Lady’s Nativity Church. This is the fifteenth parish cell group in Leixlip and was formed from the existing cell of Frances Kealey.
The cell will be hosted and led by Mary Gallagher, Ryevale Lawns and will meet on Tuesday mornings fortnightly. The next meeting will be on April 14. Mary’s contact no. is 087-6205435. An open invitation is extended to ‘Come and See’ if it is something that is helpful to you.
Parish Cells of Evangelisation were introduced to Ireland in 1980 and there are now 86 cells throughout the country with 500 parishioners coming together every fortnight to pray together and to reflect on the Scriptures.
