Cathal BarryA new faith group has been formed in Drogheda to help develop and deepen our knowledge of the Faith through study and shared reading.
Fide – Faith in Depth’s goal is, through facilitated shared reading, to learn more about the Faith, beginning with the Scriptures. Over time they plan on exploring other aspects of the Faith: dogma, morality, history, spirituality, mostly through reading but with occasional guest speakers.
The group’s hope is that this will not be a once-off set of classes but an ongoing group, supportive of each other and open to newcomers.
Open session
They are hosting an open session in St Mary’s Parish Centre, James’s Street, Drogheda on Thursday, March 27 at 8pm to meet those who might be interested, to answer questions and discuss the way forward. Subsequent meetings will take place every two weeks, the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.
