This year’s Knockadoon Music and Liturgy Course, centred on the theme ‘Open to Mercy’, will take place at the Co. Cork camp over August 7-13.
The Dominican camp’s residential course, this year marking its 35th anniversary, aims to equip participants with an array of up-to-date resources so they can return to their own parishes better able to serve in parish music ministry.
The course will feature a wide range of liturgical music from Ireland and across the world, to help provide participants with a high quality selection of modern and traditional pieces, along with guidance about when different pieces are best used. It will include tutorials for cantors as well as in piano, guitar, percussion, flute, violin and other instruments. There are also a limited number of spaces for one-day and non-residential participants.
