It was with sadness that The Irish Catholic learned of the sudden death of Michael O’Sullivan, father of our Managing Director and publisher, Garry O’Sullivan.
Mr O’Sullivan (73) was a retired member of An Garda Síochána and died in his home in Wicklow Town on December 11 surrounded by his loving family.
He is sadly missed by his loving wife Gabrielle, sons Andrew, Garry and Derek, daughters Sandra and Gillian, brothers, sisters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Robyn, Emily and Martin Jnr, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
His funeral will take place this morning (December 15) in St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town at 11.00.
The management and staff of The Irish Catholic extend sincere sympathy to the O’Sullivan family.
