Late Late album launched in aid of SVP

RTÉ has launched a music album of live performances from The Late Late Show, with all proceeds going to the Society of St Vincent de Paul. As Seen on The Late Late Show is a double album of 40 tracks from all genres of music, including performances from U2, Daniel O’Donnell, The Script and Nathan Carter among others. The album also contains a rendition of ‘The Little Drummer Boy’ by Finbar Furey in collaboration with RTÉ’s Cór na nÓg and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, which will be released as a charity single in the run-up to Christmas.

“This CD provides a very unique opportunity for people to help SVP provide support for those in need in communities throughout the country,” said SVP national president, Geoff Meagher.

“The funds raised will benefit and make a real difference to so many in need.”
