Mags GarganThe annual ‘round-table gathering’ hosted by All Saints Church in Ballymena, Co. Antrim attracted a large crowd to the parish centre to discuss the topic of ‘Living Faith: Go Proclaim the Gospel’.
The keynote speaker was journalist and teacher, Breda O’Brien, who looked at practical ways in which people can live out what Pope Francis calls ‘the Joy of the Gospel’. Other speakers included Baroness Nuala O’Loan, who reflected on the humanitarian work in which she has been involved, and Fr Patrick Delargy PP, who reflected on the challenges to those who speak out bravely on behalf of Catholic teaching today.
The meeting was facilitated by Janice McKeith and included small group discussions about living faith, as well as a question and answer session with the speakers
