Knock shrine hosts Joy of the Gospel workshop

Theologian, lecturer and author, Fr Brian Grogan SJ, is leading a workshop on The Joy of the Gospel at Knock Shrine next month.

Taking place on November 28, the workshop will explore Pope Francis’ call to us in his 2013 Apostolic Exhortation, The Joy of the Gospel, a document which addresses topics such as evangelisation in the modern Church, social justice, the family, and faith and politics.

The workshop is part of a new series of faith renewal events at Knock Shrine, aimed at encouraging people to discuss, engage and explore their faith through a diverse programme of workshops, seminars and retreats.

 Another upcoming event in the series is a one-day retreat for adults on December 5, called ‘Quiet Days for Busy People’. The retreat is led by the experienced prayer guides at Knock Shrine and aims to help people to enhance their prayer experience and grow in reflectiveness.
