Hundreds attend assembly of four Dublin parishes

The parishes of Hartstown, Huntstown, Blakestown and Mountview in Dublin got together to focus on the future in St Ciaran’s National School where Mary Kearney led a full day with over 200 parishioners.

The gathering was a natural progression for the four communities already working together offering courses, retreats and training etc with the assistance of pastoral worker, Clinton Maher.

There was much energy on the day and up to 100 people have signed up to put their energy into new initiatives.

Organisers said in “all the preparation, praying the Gospel of the day together was central to our discussion” and that many people “including contemplative communities carried us in their prayers”.
