Huge demand for pro-life conference exceeds space

Pro-Life Campaign (PLC) has been moved their National Conference in Dublin to the RDS.

Due to exceptional demand, the Pro-Life Campaign (PLC) has been forced to move their National Conference in Dublin to a bigger venue.

The event, which was scheduled to take place in the function room of a city centre hotel, will now take place in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 this Saturday, October 12, from 1.30-4.30pm.

Hope

The conference ‘A time of challenge, a time of hope – where we go from here’ will include speakers such as Steven Ertelt, founder and editor of  LifeNews.com, Adele Best of  Women Hurt, the PLC’s Caroline Simons and Hilary Ní Lorcáin who will speak about her experience of the life and death of her daughter.

Members of the Oireachtas who broke the party whip to vote against abortion are also expected to attend.

Bill

Organisers said that while the Government may think the pro-life movement is “disillusioned and will fade away” after the passing of the
abortion Bill, recent pro-life vigils and rallies showed, “that’s simply not going to happen”.
