Catholics working in the field of medicine are set to discuss current medical ethical issues at an upcoming meeting.
The Irish Catholic Doctors Association (ICDA) are inviting doctors, nurses, pharmacists, ethicists and students to their lecture on medical ethics on October 17.
The lecture takes place at Jury’s Inn, Parnell Street in Dublin at 2pm and will be followed by refreshments.
ICDA President Dr Miriam Hogan told The Irish Catholic that the discussion would be a “great opportunity” for Catholics to meet “likeminded people” in medicine.
“Ethics is something we need to do because there are have been a lot of changes. It’s very helpful to be able to share knowledge and experience with colleagues,” she said.
