Ballymena conference to tackle evangelisation challenge

A round-table conference on evangelisation is to be held in Ballymena.

Following on from successful conferences last year, this year’s conference at All Saints Church will be on the theme of ‘Living Faith: Go Proclaim the Gospel’.

The conference will be an occasion for people to explore how parishes and faith communities can put their talents most effectively and usefully at the service of the Gospel and the Church, and to share their experiences of how they respond to the call to ‘Go and proclaim the Gospel’, according to the organisers.

Speakers at the conference will include Irish Catholic columnists Breda O’Brien and Baroness Nuala O’Loan, and Fr Patrick Delargy, and small groups will provide opportunities for discussion about living faith.

There is no charge for the conference, which will be held at All Saints’ parish centre between 1.45pm and 5.00pm on June 6, though donations will be accepted to help cover the costs of the event.
