Anniversary Mass for Tom O’Gorman

A Mass is being held in Dublin next week to mark the first anniversary of the tragic death of Tom O’Gorman, a well-known Catholic activist.

His friends have organised an anniversary Mass at 3pm on Saturday, January 24 in Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock, where Tom served for many years as a Minister of the Eucharist. The Mass is open to all who would like to attend to pray for Tom and his family.

Tom (pictured) was killed in his home at Beech Park Avenue, Castleknock between January 11 and 12 2014. Saverio Bellante, from Palermo in Sicily, is charged with his murder and his trial is expected to take place on December 14.

Tom worked for The Iona Institute, was an active pro-life campaigner and was a contributor to The Irish Catholic and numerous other Catholic media outlets.
