An old fashioned whodunnit

The Monastery Murders: An Unholy Communion by Donna Fletcher Crow (Lion Fiction)

Aficionados of the Father Dowling mysteries, either in book form or on TV, will enjoy this addition to ranks of clerical fiction writers. Set in the College of the Transfiguration, it relates the involvement of Felicity and her fiance, an Anglican clergyman, in the investigation of the murder of a former student. The police consider it a suicide, the detective couple thinks otherwise. On a youth pilgrimage into the Welsh hills, the couple encounter again the strange double-headed snake symbol associated with the studentís death. Then another body is found. Donna Crowís Unholy Communion is an agreeable entertainment of the old fashioned whodunnit kind, which so many readers, including this reviewer, still enjoy.
