Dear Editor, Readers may notice how publicly-funded RTÉ presenters, and other media, have been using their publicly-funded media pulpits to attack the Eighth Amendment, Catholic ethos in schools and generally use their public position to advance secularisation.
Typically this involved inviting anti-Eighth Amendment studio guests in and then feeding them nice, soft, leading questions.
We need to recognise that such secular media cheerleaders are merely ‘softening up’ public opinion over time. Shortly, anti-Eighth Amendment campaigners will want your vote, opening up Ireland to abortion clinics on your street.
Be assured that none of these campaigners will be telling you how abortion provider Planned Parenthood was caught selling aborted baby body parts and there was a complete media black-out on that scandal.
Yours etc.,
Oliver Maher,
