Lay Apostle Anne and Church teaching

Dear Editor, Bishop Leo O’Reilly who has given his imprimatur to ‘Anne’ the lay apostle should be given a copy of her book The Breakable Vow written under her own name Kathryn Ann Clarke… Very crude, vulgar language in it.

Kathryn also advises one to get out of an abusive relationship. This is in direct contrast to St Monica, mother of St Augustine, her husband had a violent temper and was licentious. She didn’t leave the relationship. She prayed continually. He was converted. Then we have St Rita who was in a very abusive marriage… Through humility, kindness and patience she was able to convert her husband.

‘Anne’ says Purgatory is was like a park, beautiful and peaceful.

This is at variance with St Johnn Vianney. The fire of Purgatory is the same as the fire of Hell. The only difference is that Purgatory is not everlasting.

St Thomas Aquinas: The same fire torments the damned in Hell and the just in Purgatory.

I will stay faithful to Rome and take direction from Pope Francis.
