Major conference to address Church reform under Francis

The Irish Catholic to host conference

The impact of Pope Francis on the reform of the Church in Ireland will be the theme of a major conference to take place in Dublin next month, hosted by The Irish Catholic.

Speakers include Papal biographer Austen Ivereigh, Baroness Nuala O’Loan, Breda O’Brien, Abbot Mark-Patrick Hederman, Trocaire’s Eamon Meehan, Mary Kenny and David Quinn.

The conference will be held in the Red Cow hotel close to Dublin’s M50 on Saturday October 4 and will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Vatican II document Lumen Gentium.

Tickets are available at a special offer of €25 per person. Admission on the day will cost €30.

There will also be an opportunity for a panel discussion addressing the future of the Church in Ireland and what impact Pope Francis is having and will continue to have on this renewal and reform.
