Today’s parish is entering a time that presents both challenge and opportunity. Churchgoers and priests are growing older and fewer, and the Church itself has lost much of its credibility. It needs a new vision that will revitalise the parish with energy and hope.
This new edition of Tomorrow’s Parish sets out the priorities for the parish as the Church enters a new phase, particularly highlighting the role of the family with the celebration of the World Meeting of Families in Ireland.
